Introduction

Swastik Apps builds utility software — Android apps, web tools, and developer tools. This Privacy Policy describes what information our products access or collect, and how it is used. We are committed to transparency: we do not sell your data, and we do not collect more than is needed.

This policy covers all current Swastik Apps products:

  • Android apps — Operational Research, Unit Converter, Psychrometric Calculator
  • SnippetBook — web dashboard and VS Code extension
  • Unit Converter — web version

Android Apps

This section applies to our Android applications: Operational Research,  Unit Converter and Psychrometric Calculator available on Google Play Store.

Advertising

Our Android apps are free to use and are supported by advertising through  Google AdMob. AdMob may access your device's advertising ID and related parameters to serve relevant advertisements. This improves your ad experience by showing ads related to your interests.

This information is used solely for ad serving. For details on how Google uses this data, refer to  Google's Privacy Policy.

Personal data

We, Swastik Apps, do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from users of our Android apps. All calculations and conversions happen entirely on your device.

Permissions

Our apps request only the permissions required to function. No access to contacts, camera, microphone, or location is requested or used.

SnippetBook

This section applies to the SnippetBook web dashboard(snippetbook.swastikapps.com) and the SnippetBook VS Code extension.

Authentication

SnippetBook uses Google OAuth for sign-in. When you sign in, we receive your Google email address and display name to create and identify your account. We do not receive or store your Google password.

Snippet data

Code snippets you save are stored securely on our servers and are accessible only to your authenticated account. We do not read, share, or analyse the content of your snippets for any purpose other than serving them back to you.

VS Code extension

The VS Code extension communicates with the SnippetBook API using your authenticated session. No data is collected or transmitted beyond what is necessary to load and save your snippets.

Third parties

We do not share SnippetBook user data with any third-party services except as required to operate the infrastructure (e.g., cloud hosting providers).

Unit Converter — Web Version

The web version of Unit Converter (sanskrit.dx.am/unitconverter) does not require a login and does not collect any personal data. All conversions are performed client-side in your browser. No information is sent to or stored on any server.

General

Data sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or any other commercial purpose.

Children's privacy

Our products are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our products evolve. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
